Grand and upright pianos. Online appointment requests and easy text scheduling.

My name is Leonel. I have been playing piano for over a decade and am a dedicated piano student at Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Through my passion for music and interest in the craftsmanship behind every instrument, I developed a love for piano tuning.
At Piano Tuning Vegas, I provide tuning services for both grand and upright pianos throughout the Las Vegas Valley. I am committed to affordable, reliable, and punctual service, taking the time to ensure each piano sounds its best with a clear, stable, and balanced tone. Whether your piano is due for routine maintenance or has gone years without tuning, my goal is to help you enjoy the full beauty and potential of your instrument.
A piano contains over 200 strings under thousands of pounds of combined tension. Changes in temperature, humidity, and regular use cause these strings to gradually drift out of tune over time.
When a piano is not tuned regularly, notes can begin to sound dull, unstable, or noticeably out of tune. In severe cases, a piano may require a pitch raise before it can be properly tuned.
Benefits of Regular Piano Tuning
- Maintain a beautiful, balanced tone
- Improve the sound of practice and performances
- Protect the long-term health of the instrument
- Prevent excessive pitch drift that can require more extensive correction later
- Ensure notes and chords sound clear and harmonious
How Often Should a Piano Be Tuned?
Most manufacturers and piano technicians recommend tuning a piano every six months.
Some pianos may benefit from more frequent tuning, including:
- New pianos during their first few years
- Instruments used for lessons, performances, or frequent practice
- Pianos located in environments with significant temperature or humidity changes
Regular tuning helps preserve your piano's sound quality and keeps the instrument performing at its best for years to come.
Standard Piano Tuning - $150
For most grand and upright pianos that are reasonably close to concert pitch. Includes a complete tuning to improve tone, harmony, and overall performance.
Pitch Raise & Fine Tuning - $200
For pianos that have not been tuned in many years and have fallen significantly below standard pitch. A pitch raise restores the piano closer to proper pitch before the final tuning is completed.
